It's a pity that transport options are practically non-existent in the area, which curtails exploring the stunning landscape unless you've got a set of wheels.

we had a short but sweet stay at ballyliffin hotel. the location was perfect for exploring beautiful beaches nearby and the dough famine museum. breakfast was great and our room was spacious and very clean. the staff were super friendly and helpful too!

Stayed in a Double Room for 2 nights. It was comfortable and clean, which was a nice surprise. Plus, the views from the room were great. Just felt a bit basic, and I wish there were a few more amenities. Still, the ample hot water was a plus for showers. Not a bad spot for a quick getaway!
